Textiles for microbially exposed workplaces eliminating the risk of persistent pollutants

The project is aimed on the implementation of protective clothing treated with an organic pigment, which is photoactive in the light emitted by standard LED sources. This treating is able to achieve effective self-cleaning effect protected the clothing from the deposition of organic as well as microbial pollutants. The proposed technology will allow a significant reduction in the leakage of hazardous biocidal products into wastewater. The use of polypropylene textiles characterized by tolerance to sensitive skin will reduce the risk of leakage of microplastics into the environment. The project is focused primarily on the field of protective clothing for healthcare.
