COC is responsible for the development of aqueous solutions of electrolytes based on organic compounds for flow batteries. The target is to design an alternative energy storage from renewable sources that is made from materials available in the EU, stable in the long term and competitive with standard battery storage in terms of price per kWh and cycle.
