Functional barrier fabrics with nanomembrane for protective clothing - FW06010103

The project target is the industrial realization of functional barrier textiles combining an outer textile layer based on aramid surface-treated with a photoactive self-cleaning colorant and a nanomembrane capable of effectively separating toxic waste products. Work clothing using these barrier textiles enables increased protection of people moving in a highly toxic environment during a firefighting intervention.
